Project Status: On Hold

A modern herbalist catches a troubled youth tagging her shop and presses her into cleaning it up in exchange for not reporting it to the authorities.

Over the next few days the two bond while the work gets done. As resentment is slowly replaced by friendship, they both grow. The herbalist, a young woman named Nerissa (Ner for short) shows 19-year-old Raina kindness and acceptance, while Raina provides much needed assistance (and organization) to Ner’s life and business.

After the wall cleanup is finished, Ner hires Raina on for real and their relationship continues to grow. But everything they’ve gained through each other is put into jeopardy when Raina stumbles upon the supernatural side of Ner’s business.
